III National WEEE Management Congress 2019
Electrical and electronic devices are defined as those that need to operate electric current or electromagnetic fields, intended to be used with a nominal voltage not exceeding 1,000 V in alternating current and 1,500V in direct current, and the devices necessary to generate, transmit and measure such currents and fields.
But how many appliances are currently in Spanish homes? How many small electrical appliances help to facilitate the work of thousands of people? And in the sanitary or audiovisual field, how many electronic products are used for the elaboration of tests or the recording and images? Before these questions, we can add another one: what do you do with these devices when they stop working? They simply become waste.
THE THIRD CONGRESS, THE WAY OF SUCCESS
In this congress the agents involved in the management of WEEE met: producers, distributors, waste managers and public administrations.
These environmental conferences have been organized by the Collective Systems of Extended Responsibility of the Producer of Electrical Appliances (SCRAP) in the field of Ofiraee. This event is the continuity of a path that began in 2017 in Antequera, where the first edition was held and Valencia in 2018 in its second edition.
The main objective of the Congress is to present the advantages of the Circular Economy and what role we play in this new economic model. All this in the incomparable setting of the city of Toledo.
THE PRODUCTION.
From the Palace services we have managed, in coordination with the organization, all the branding production of the event. For this act, tarps have been installed advertising the event outside the Palace, as well as different visual information inside. Likewise, a large photocall has been built for the event for which authorities and other guests have paraded.
Likewise, we have coordinated the management of the entire audiovisual section. It should be noted that this event was broadcast via streaming on the WEEE channel on the YouTube platform. Finally, we offer our catering services to all attendees who have enjoyed our catering services.
